SAFE IN SOUND FESTIVAL

It's no secret that the world of music festivals has exploded over the past few years, evolving from a few thousand to over 300,000 people in just a few short years. Tomorrowland, arguably one of the world's best festivals, just celebrated it's 10th anniversary this year with 2 massive weekends and tickets selling out in under a minute. Electric Daisy Carnival has grown from a one-time one-city festival, to a worldwide event in 5 cities over 3 countries. With festivals now competing for fans, boasting 30 full-sized carnival rides, 6 stages, 450 theatrical performers, 150+ artists, and an 8 figure budget, how can new festivals make themselves stand out?

Enter the "Safe in Sound Festival". To make yourself stand out in the world of electronic music, you have to be different, and stand out this festival does. With a focus on the bass of electronic music, Safe in Sound will be bringing along a 150,000 watt rig, touted as the most "powerful touring sound system" ever used for electronic music. For comparison, Beta Nightclub, always in the top 5 for sound systems, employs just over 100,000 watts. This behemoth of a sound system will be traveling to 20 cities in its inaugural year with the artists to back it up. Some of the releases headliners include Flux Pavilion, Adventure Club, Zeds Dead, and Excision. Check below to see if they are coming to a city near you, then head to their website to get your tickets.

THE CHAINSMOKERS - KANYE

The Chainsmokers continue to come out with hit after hit. Their latest single, titled "Kanye", debuted today on Buzzfeed and Alex Pall explained that "We look at the word Kanye as an adjective. The song is about what it means to be like Kanye. It's just about owning it no matter what you're doing." The track is available exclusively through Buzzfeed which you can check out HERE.

ARTISIT HIGHLIGHT - TECHNIMATIC

If you take a look through Technimatic's bio, they declare their genre as simply drum & bass. While the music may fit the genre, there certainly seems to be a lot more going on in their tracks. Pete Rogers and Andy Powell were once Technicolour and Komatic, respectively, and merged together to create they rich bass heavy tracks we hear today. The duo has been making music in London together since 2008. Since signing with Shogun Audio the guys have been coming up with hit after hit and recently released their first full album "Desire Paths".  Listen to some of our favorite tracks below then get the full album HERE.

NEW DEFICIO
