Every generation has a genre of music that speaks for and defines them. You can look back through history and separate eras based on what style of music was popular at the time. One thing that never changes, however is the desire to either perform or watch a live performance. Dating back to the time of Shakespearse's Globe, to festivals like Woodstock, to amphitheaters and performance venues in modern times, venues have adapted to the style of music and entertainment prevalent at the time. Our generation may be looked at as the generation of electronic music, and as such the avenues for performance and watching are adapting. Dutch company Yalp has created the Fono - the worlds first outdoor DJ booth. The concrete like structure can be placed anywhere and can be easily used by anyone.
